WOW air offers cheap flights to Warsaw. Whether you would like to enjoy the beautiful Old Town, the culture, or go for a great night out, this beautiful green city of culture has something for all tastes and budgets.
Almost completely destroyed during World War II, the city was rebuilt at enormous cost and effort. The result of the city's reconstruction resulted in the inclusion of the Old Town on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1980. Today, it is a thriving and popular pedestrian area with numerous galleries, restaurants and cafes charming tourists and Varsovians alike, a place to breathe in its unique atmosphere. The National Stadium in Warsaw was built for the European Football Championship UEFA EURO 2012™, located close to the Old Town and city center. A walk to the stadium from the Palace of Culture and Science takes less than 30 minutes. Frédéric Chopin was born and spent the first 20 years of his life in the city. Enjoy interactive exhibits and a fascinating history lesson at the Frédéric Chopin Museum.
Located in a lovely site between the Old Town and the Vistula River, the Multimedia Fountain Park is a visual delight combining music, light and, as the name suggests, fountains. Featuring 367 nozzles, which are capable of firing 28,252 ft3 of water 82 ft into the air over a 32,292 ft2 pond, the stunning visual show is provided by the synchronization of 295 LED RGB lights combined with a laser projector alongside the fountain. Shows last about 30 minutes and include sets where the fountains are lit in a myriad of colors or where lasers create visual effects such as the Warsaw symbol of Syrena (the Mermaid) moving through the water.
