San Francisco of the North
Brighton is a lively beach town on the south coast of England and when the weather is good the people of London go there to get a real taste of summer. Brighton is also a great city for shopping as it has a small down town area where all the usual suspects (Primark, H&M, Zara etc.) can be located and they're all pretty close to the beach too.
Brighton is a city of great atmosphere. A stroll around The Lanes, popping into small shops and cafés is just one way to spend your day while there.
Travelling from Gatwick Airport to Brighton takes only about 30 minutes with train and Gatwick airport is situated between London and Brighton so after landing in Gatwick you can go north for London to the hustle and bustle of the great city or go directly to Brighton for a little quieter vacation.
Well, Brighton probably won't be too quiet during The Great Escape but you catch our drift. You should get your ticket to the festival right away and find cheap flights to England from USA and Canada with WOW air. C'mon!
